a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from
around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and
country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name
listed along with other fans of the same subject."
Fanfiction:
According to Wikipedia, "Fan fiction (alternately referred to as fanfiction, fanfic, FF
or fic) is a broadly defined term for fiction about characters or settings written by admirers of the original work, rather than by the
original creators."
Scorpius & Rose:
Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Weasley are two of the "next generation" characters introduced to the Harry Potter fandom in the epilogue of
the seventh and final book of the best-selling series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Rose Weasley is the daughter of Ronald
Weasley and Hermione Granger-Weasley; Scorpius Malfoy is the son of Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass-Malfoy.
The idea of a relationship between these two characters was sparked by the sage advice of Ron Weasley:
"So that's little Scorpius," said Ron under his breath. "Make sure you beat him at every test, Rosie. Thank God you inherited your
mother's brains."
"Ron, for heaven's sake," said Hermione, half stern, half amused. "Don't try to turn them against each other before they've even started school!"
"You're right, sorry," said Ron, but unable to help himself, he added, "Don't get too friendly with him, though, Rosie. Granddad Weasley
would never forgive you if you married a pureblood."
Many believe that these words might actually be a self-fulfilling prophecy. In any case, a good portion the Harry Potter fandom has shifted
its attention to the potential friendship and romance between Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Weasley. Thankfully, fanfiction has given shippers the
opportunity to explore all sorts of stories for the pairing.
